Scrap Metal Drive
Attention all Scouters , Beavers , Cubs, Scouts ,Ventures, Rovers , parents and all involved in North Waterloo Scouting.
We are going to ask for your help , we need to raise some money to keep our Scout House running . Here is the kick, we don't want your money but your scrap metal.
We will take steel , iron ,copper ,brass , or aluminum. We need to collect 6 lbs (or more) for every registered member both youth and adult. You can bring your donations to the Scout House at 844 Frederick Street in Kitchener, any Thursday or Friday in April or May until the long weekend in May. Members of the Scout House support team will then get the metal to our recycling partner for payment. Things we cannot take are tires on rims, air conditioners, refrigerators, e waste and dirty copper (stolen - when selling copper they will ask the origin!).
