10th Waterloo Scout House Clean Up
Thanks to 10th Waterloo Beaver, Cubs, parents and Scouters for cleaning up outside at Scout House at 844 Frederick St on Monday April 25th.
Here are their words:
We had a blast this evening! In an hour we collected quite a few garbage bags worth of stuff, 1 recycle bin of recyclables, a baby swing frame, 5 leaf bags worth of sticks and 1 skeleton head (a rodent - we think. The youth who found it took it home.).
We cleaned up the area around the bus stop too - one clear garbage bag full of stuff.
The Cub and Beaver leaders all agreed this evening that we should make this an annual activity for our group. The general comment was "Why didn't we think of this before?"
I am so glad I dropped in on Thursday evening and we had a chance to chat. Thank you so much for the great idea! You can count on 10th Waterloo Cubs and Beavers to come out and do a Good Turn whenever Kiwanis takes over our regular meeting spot!
